I am a longtime book lover, reader, reviewer and collector. I’ll drink an iced coffee at anytime of day and I’m obsessed with Cinderella, house-shaped trinkets and teapots. I’m a huge fan of Shania Twain, I spend my free time watching RuPaul’s Drag Race and I usually only listen to music from the 2000s. I love cats, my favorite color is blue and my favorite snack is movie theater popcorn. I live in my small hometown in Virginia on the Chesapeake Bay with my family.

I’ve loved books for as long as I can remember. I took creative writing classes in school and looked forward to book report projects. Besides language arts, I was a huge math and science nerd growing up. This manifested itself into my love for pharmacy when I got my first job at a local drugstore. I would later spend over 12 years working in pharmacies as a technician and specialist. I loved my work, but it didn’t give me an outlet to express my creativity or love of reading. So, I started my Instagram account in February of 2023 & I have absolutely found my heart in the process of creating bookish content. I decided to become a SAHM when my daughter was born in 2023 and I’ve been able to spend more time reading and teaching her and my stepson how to love books, too. In September of 2024, I was lucky enough to snag a job as a part-time clerk at my local library, and I love spending my days chatting about books with patrons. I also launched my journal line in 2024, starting a business that I feel encapsulates my love to create and organize. Now, my dream is to one day operate a cozy bookstore and share my love of books with the community even further.
